Ahmed is a lawyer in the Litigation department. He specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, focusing on real estate, companies’ law and construction matters.
He regularly advises and represents his clients, including employers, contractors, subcontractors and shareholders in disputes arising out of their contractual relationships. He is a skilled in drafting agreements in Arabic and English.
To date, Ahmed has acted as leading counsel in arbitration cases before Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC-LCIA). He is proficient in handling arbitration proceedings both in institutional and ad-hoc arbitration.
Ahmed has also acted as leading counsel in litigation cases before the Courts of Egypt and UAE.
He is a qualified arbitrator, registered with many local and International Arbitration Centres.
Ahmed has 18 years’ post qualification experience, which includes 15 years in the UAE. He was educated in Egypt and UAE. He is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association and a registered legal consultant with the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department.
