Ali is a senior associate in our litigation department. As a bilingual litigator, Ali specialises in civil, commercial, corporate claims, banking, construction disputes, employment, agencies & distributorships and intellectual property infringements. Most recently, Ali has advised a well-known UAE-based company in the Kuwait Courts in order to retrieve an amount of AED200m.

Having qualified in 2010, Ali has served clients in both law firms and in house council.  He has an extensive record of advising on banking, real estate, construction and land matters for internationals and Middle East-based companies. Ali has a broad range of legal experience in the Middle East having worked across the region in Egypt, Kuwait and the UAE. He has served a range of clients across all sectors before the courts of Kuwait and Egypt and is committed to providing his clients the best resolution to their litigations.

Fluent in both Arabic and English, Ali obtained his law degree from Cairo University and is admitted as a member of the Egyptian Bar Association. 

Ali's recent experience includes advising: 

  • A leading multinational company and full stream provider on integrated oilfield products concerning civil, commercial and employment disputes.
  • Represented a well known Bank to retrieve an amount of QAR 360m.
  • A Middle East-based contractor in relation to their dispute regarding outstanding payments as laid out in and GT contract concerning a large real estate project valued at KWD 103m.
  • A multinational logistics company in their dispute regarding its civil, commercial and employment disputes.
  • A leading UAE Bank relating to a claim valued at AED 25m dispute concerning loan agreement.
  • Various multinational pharmaceuticals companies in relation to an employment disputes concerning a former employees, and civil & commercial claims against third parties.
