Mohamed is an associate in our litigation team and specialises in litigation, commercial and dispute resolution matters. Mohamed knows the Middle East market and the complexities it brings for litigations for both international and local clients.

As a bilingual litigator, Mohamed has extensive experience providing legal advice to Middle Eastern clients in civil and commercial litigations, arbitration as a leading counsel and corporate matters for many international and local companies in UAE.

Fluent in both Arabic and English, Mohamed obtained his Bachelors of Law from Alexandria University in Egypt.

Mohamed’s recent experience includes the following:

  • Advising on various arbitration cases in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
  • Acting as a lead counsel in an AED 170 Million arbitration case in the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC) which revolved around a construction dispute that consisted of major technical and legal aspects for European investors.
  • Acting as a lead counsel in an AED 50 Million arbitration case in the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) before a tribunal of three arbitrators which revolved around an oil & gas dispute that consisted of major technical and legal aspects for a local company.
  • Acting as a lead counsel in an AED 200 Million arbitration case in the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC) which revolved around a construction dispute that consisted of major technical and legal aspects for a far eastern holding company.
  • Advising a government energy-related entity on a range of matters, in connection with an ongoing dispute which involves an AED 1 Billion terminated agreement with an international contractor. 
  • Acting as seconded Head of Legal Department for a federal entity in Abu Dhabi.
