Leading UAE law firm Horizons & Co. and prominent Omani law firm DSA formally announce their collaboration agreement.

Horizons & Co. Law Firm LLC (Horizons & Co.) and Dr. Saif Al Rawahi Advocates, Advisors, and Corporate Consultants (DSA) are pleased to announce that they have signed a non-exclusive collaboration agreement. The agreement was signed on Friday 26 July in an official ceremony at Horizons & Co.’s offices in Dubai by Founders and Managing Partners, Adv. Ali Al Zarooni of Horizons & Co. and Dr. Saif Al Rawahi of DSA, with Senior Management and other members of both firms also present.

This agreement will enable Horizons & Co.’s clients in need of legal advice in Oman, or those seeking to enter the market, to access DSA’s broad suite of legal services. In turn, the agreement will allow DSA to support its domestic clients looking to expand into the UAE. Collectively, it will facilitate a more comprehensive and seamless provision of high-level legal services for all.

Furthermore, the agreement will facilitate secondments and knowledge-sharing in the spirit of upskilling and professional development, values both firms hold as core principles. This reflects the commitment of both firms and their founders, Adv. Ali Al Zarooni and Dr. Saif Al Rawahi, to support the increasing sophistication and advancement of the GCC legal market.

Both entities have agreed in principle to collaborate into projects jointly, as deemed fit by the respective Principal Partners. This will provide the clients with extensive expertise and complete legal services, especially corporations and large and mid-size projects.

Regarding this significant agreement, Adv. Ali Al Zarooni, Founder and Managing Partner of Horizons & Co., said: "Horizons & Co. and DSA share the same vision – to deliver excellent client service and legal advice while fostering the continued growth and development of the GCC legal market. This agreement exemplifies this. It will enable us to better support our clients active in Oman or looking to expand there, while at the same time giving DSA’s clients entering the UAE market the benefit of our top-tier services. We are excited to help companies and entrepreneurs achieve their regional ambitions through this collaboration.”

DSA Chairman Dr. Saif Al Rawahi commented: “With many of our clients looking to the UAE and given the synergies between our two firms regarding our values and aims, this agreement is a very positive step forward for everyone, especially our clients. I am particularly thrilled that we will harness this opportunity to share legal knowledge, best practices, and facilitate secondments – the advancement of the law and the professional development of legal practitioners is something both myself and Adv. Ali have always sought to promote.”

Horizons & Co. Senior Partner Mahiyar Jehangir added: “As Horizons & Co. celebrates its 25th anniversary, this agreement is a wonderful reflection of how our firm continues to grow and look to the future to best serve our clients and continue our upward trajectory.”
