Associate – Litigation

We are currently seeking an Associate with an excellent academic background and a passion for litigation, to support and assist in handling high-profile complex cases.  

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar capacity with a reputed law firm, legal department, or legal consultancy firm with good legal administration skills. You will be responsible for varied and challenging complex legal work which often sets the pace in the market as the firm has an enviable range of clients. The firm strives to create a positive, stimulating, and diverse work environment, one that is based on teamwork, learning, open communication, and knowledge sharing. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Managing the client cases from start to finish. 
  • Attend client meetings. 
  • Gathering documents/evidence from the client. 
  • Conducting legal research and reviewing legal documents to assist in development of strategies with Senior Associates 
  • Updating and consulting with senior associates 
  • Supervising paralegals or legal assistants from time to time

Key Requirements 

  • 3-5 years’ experience gained experience in a similar capacity with a reputed law firm, legal department, or legal consultancy firm.  
  • Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent written and communication skills  
  • Familiarity with the UAE laws and the legal system within the region.  
  • Good drafting skills  
  • Good time management and organisational skills  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Detailed-orientated and highly motivated individual  
  • Ability to cope with several projects simultaneously with short deadlines.  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.  
  • Masters/Bachelor of Law from a reputed University
