Senior Associate - Corporate
We are seeking to hire an ambitious, energetic, and talented senior associate to join our corporate department having minimum 4-5 years in the corporate / commercial practice to provide legal advice and analysis on general corporate advisory.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar capacity with a reputed law firm, legal department, or legal consultancy within the UAE. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and government-sponsored entities.
You will be responsible for handling a wide array of corporate legal matters, such as commercial agreements, corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and family business advisory. The role involves drafting and negotiating various complex agreements, while also building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with multiple clients (including SMEs, national and multinational corporations, regional corporate conglomerates, investment firms, private equity firms, government sponsored institutions, financial institutions, and regional funds) and in this regard would be required to provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters relating to commercial agreements, corporate structuring, regulatory advice, family business structures, and other corporate transactions.
- Advising clients on corporate establishment, registration, transformation, governance, and liquidation matters.
- Drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements such as shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, franchising agreements, distribution agreements, joint-venture agreements, real estate and property related agreements, escrow agreements, lease agreements etc.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the clients delivering exceptional services to ensure client satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Masters / Bachelor of Law from a reputed university.
- 4-5 years PQE with in-depth knowledge of UAE laws.
- Exceptional attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong business and client development skills.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to stay composed under pressure while managing multiple projects.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Arabic language skills are a plus but not required.
