Hureyya is an experienced Emirati lawyer in our Litigation Department. She specialises in representing clients before the UAE courts on a range of civil and criminal cases, as well as on the enforcement of court orders and judgments. Her expertise spans civil, criminal, commercial, employment, real estate, and Sharia law.

She has a proven track record of preparing and filing cases with the police and courts, while also ensuring compliance withal court rules and procedures, as well as presenting clients before all levels of the Courts, notably in Dubai and Sharjah.

She has a proven ability to manage the execution of legal rulings, coordinating with law enforcement and relevant authorities to ensure swift and successful enforcement. Her expertise includes applying for asset freezes, travel bans, and other legal measures to protect clients' interests.

Hureyya is a graduate of the United Arab Emirates University, where she obtained her law degree. In addition to her law degree, Hureyya has also completed her training at the Judicial Institute under the Ministry of Justice. Her training at the Judicial Institute has equipped her with specialised knowledge and skills.

  • A UAE financial services provider on the drafting of an array of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appeals before the Dubai Courts.
  • An investment fund on the issuance of a travel ban against the CEO of a tech start-up where they had loaned approx. AED 5 million due to their repeated failure to comply with the repayment agreement
  • A notable UAE entity on an enforcement of a foreign judgment before the Dubai courts in relation to the recovery of a significant amount of debt, which included the recovery and sale of assets.
  • A UAE bank on filing enforcement proceedings before the Dubai Courts against a local real estate developer, resulting in the recovery of the full amount of the loan, approx. AED 20 million.
  • A GCC bank on cooperation with the Dubai police and prosecutors in relation to a money laundering investigation involving one of their HNW clients.
  • A polyester company in relation to an AED 3 billion bankruptcy dispute and presenting the restructuring plan to UAE courts
  • A UAE insurance company on a case involving a former employee disclosing confidential information and trade secrets. We filed a criminal complaint and a compensation case which succeeded at first instance and is now before the Court of Appeal.
  • A major UAE bank on a case concerning non-payment of a mortgage for a very high value real estate asset. We filed a legal notice on behalf of the bank, followed by court proceedings to enforce the mortgage terms. Upon court approval, we obtained an order to seize the property.
  • An international financial investor on the recovery of significant debt in the UAE, including enforcement and the location of assets.
  • A major Dubai free zone authority on the execution and enforcement of outstanding payments and multiple bounced cheque cases with tenants.
