Senior AssociateMahmoud is a senior associate in our Dispute Resolution Department, with over nine years of experience in the legal industry.
He specialises in dispute resolution, civil and commercial litigation, in matters of insolvency, corporate restructuring and finance. Mahmoud frequently advises on bankruptcy proceedings for high-value firms, often in matters of cross-border litigation. He often advises as outside counsel but equally, he has directly represented such firms and banks in insolvency scenarios and high value claims. Further, he has extensive experience in the enforcement and execution of foreign judgements in the UAE.
He boasts a comprehensive understanding of the civil and public litigation laws and procedures of both England & Wales and the UAE. His background includes collaboration with prominent law firms in both jurisdictions. In the UAE, he regularly works as part of the team supporting the financial services sector clients of prominent international law firms on the local elements of their cases.
Mahmoud was awarded a master's degree from the University of Paris 12 in France in Commercial Law, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Brighton in the United Kingdom and has completed CILEX Level 6 qualification with the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives.
Mahmoud speaks fluent Arabic, English and French.
